Trying to be Naturally Quirky -OR- My Life is an Oxymoron
I’m trying to think up a cute, money-free surprise to make the boy for our one-year anniversary. Problem is, I’m just about the least creative person I know when it comes to arts and crafts projects.
Should I go the cute mix CD route? Or is that too obvious? Does it seem like I’m trying too hard? (Well, that’s probably because I am.)
Maybe I can do a photo collage. Although I’ll probably get bored half way through and just make a gluey mess.
So here I am. Trying my hardest to be effortlessly quirky, getting internet tips from people who are thirty times cooler than me.
I wonder….are cute, quirky people born cute and quirky or do they try just as hard as me but do a better job hiding it?
